Labour Party presidential, hopeful Peter Obi claims that Bola Tinubu's inauguration will strengthen him.
According to reports, on May 29, Tinubu, who won the elections on February 25, 2023, would take office as the Federal Republic of Nigeria's 16th president and commander-in-chief.
Obi declared he would not give up in the struggle to preserve "his mandate" in a response to a question about the inauguration in a Twitter Space on Sunday. I knew this journey wouldn't be simple when I started it, so I didn't begin it overnight.
The inauguration will give me more vigor. I am aware of how demoralized you feel because your effort did not go as planned. We are engaged in conflict with a powerful institution.
It's been a long fight for us. Even I am aware that the road ahead is difficult; they will undoubtedly level accusations, use blackmail, and other tactics, but I am prepared. I appreciate your sacrifice and kindly beg that you not feel deflated, he said.
