An adolescent who was discovered outside at night stated that her aunt had expelled her for being honest.
According to Chinenye Ezekwueme, an 18-year-old from Uga, Anambra State, her aunt, Ms. Ebere, asked her to leave her house because she couldn't back up a false claim she made against another woman.
The teenager claims that her aunt refused to assist her when she needed money for her Home Economics practicals, but a friend's mother volunteered to provide it. Her aunt reportedly told the police that the lady had abducted Chinenye after learning of it.

According to Chinenye, she disclosed the truth to the police when they questioned her, which infuriated her aunt, who then ejected her from the house.
When questioned about her parents, she stated that her father sent her to live with his older sister since his new wife did not want her to live with them and that she does not know her mother. "I don't have my father's contact information," she continued.
