The Crown Princess of Norway's son is accused of s@xual abuse and r@pe.

A "double-digit number" of claimed victims are involved in the numerous rape and sexual assault allegations against the eldest son of Norway's Crown Princess Mette-Marit, according to the police.

After multiple arrests in 2024 as accusers started to come forward, authorities reported that 28-year-old Marius Borg Høiby, the stepson of Crown Prince Haakon and the son of Princess Mette-Marit, was accused.

"Aside from verifying that it is a double-digit number, I am unable to provide additional information regarding the number of victims," Oslo Police Attorney Andreas Kruszewski stated.

Høiby, who was formerly well-known in Norway as "Little Marius," has a history of openly battling cocaine addiction. According to police, text messages and interviews were among the evidence used to support the allegations.

He is currently facing four counts of sexual assault, two counts of bodily harm, one charge of rape including sexual contact, and two charges of rape without sexual contact.

According to Petar Sekulic, Høiby's lawyer, his client is completely cooperating with the investigation. In most situations, particularly those involving sexual abuse and violence, Sekulic stated, "he does not acknowledge any wrongdoing, but he is absolutely taking the accusations very seriously."

The royal currently lives in a different residence close by, where she previously resided with the crown prince and princess and their kids, Princess Ingrid Alexandra and Prince Sverre Magnus.

The palace has said it will wait for the issue to go through "normal procedures" and has declined to comment.

Despite sharing the same royal circles and advantages as his half-siblings, Høiby had previously acknowledged that he was addicted to cocaine. Morton Borg, his biological father, was incarcerated for violent and drug-related acts.

Høiby is still at large pending a potential trial.
