When the terrorists saw the approaching troops, they fled into the adjacent woods, leaving their possessions behind.
Two bicycles, six small lamps, two solar power units, six new Tecno phones with chargers but no SIM cards, bags of garri, and N4,700,000 were among the items found during the exploitation.
After then, troops carried out a search and chase operation, but they were unable to get in touch with the escaping rebels.
Together with other security forces, Operation Hadin Kai troops have persisted in offensive operations under Operation Desert Sanity IV in order to prevent terrorists from moving freely and to safeguard vital supply routes in the Northeast.
