Nollywood actor, Taye Arimoro, has accused his colleague, actress Peggy Ovie, and her crew members of allegedly assaulting him on a movie set.
In a viral video circulating on social media, Arimoro claimed he was beaten up on Tuesday night while working on Peggy Ovie’s movie production.
According to his narration, the altercation began when he attempted to leave the movie location after reportedly exceeding the agreed time. He alleged that Peggy Ovie and her crew prevented him from leaving, leading to a confrontation.
Arimoro, who appeared visibly injured in the video, showed cuts on his lips and gum. He also claimed that his car tyres were deflated to stop him from leaving the location.
In the video, the actor could be heard saying:
“I said I want to go home, they don’t want me to go home. Guys, look at my mouth because I said I want to go home. This woman and her people are doing the most.”
He further accused Peggy Ovie of instructing her driver to block his car, making it impossible for him to leave the set.
As of press time, Peggy Ovie has not publicly responded to the allegations. The incident has sparked mixed reactions online, with many fans calling for an investigation into the alleged assault.
