Don Jazzy Names Wande Coal as Nigeria’s Best Vocalist

 

Ace music producer and Mavin Records boss, Don Jazzy, has declared that his former signee, Wande Coal, possesses the best vocals in the Nigerian music industry.

During an interactive session with fans on X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday, a fan praised Don Jazzy’s own voice, calling it the best and most unique in the country.

In response, Don Jazzy agreed that his voice is “most unique” but insisted that Wande Coal holds the crown for the best vocals.

“Most unique I agree, best na Wande [Coal],” he wrote.

Wande Coal, who rose to fame under Don Jazzy’s Mo’ Hits Records, is widely regarded as one of Afrobeats’ finest vocalists. Several top artists, including Wizkid, Fireboy DML, and Oxlade, have often cited him as a major influence on their musical style.
