Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, has revealed the profession she would have pursued if she wasn’t successful in the music industry.
The “Essence” hitmaker made this known during an interactive session with fans on X (formerly Twitter).
A fan asked her:
“If music didn’t work, what else would you be doing today?”
Responding, Tems said she would likely have become an accountant or a mathematics teacher, revealing her strong interest in numbers and analytical work.
Tems Quit Her Digital Marketing Job to Pursue Music
Before becoming a global sensation, Tems worked as a digital marketer. She resigned from the job in January 2018 to fully pursue her passion for music.
