Nigerian street-pop star Portable has stirred controversy once again after publicly calling out award-winning rapper and YBNL Nation boss, Olamide, claiming the music executive will one day regret not signing him.
The Zazuu crooner, known for his outspoken personality, took to social media to express disappointment over what he described as Olamide’s neglect, insisting that his decision not to bring him into the YBNL label will backfire.
Portable Accuses Olamide of Abandonment
In his posts, Portable alleged that Olamide failed to support him at a crucial point in his career.
He wrote:
“You will regret not signing me. Any disappointment is a blessing. I am blessed internationally, I get fan base.”
Skepta Praised as Portable’s “Destiny Helper”
Portable expressed gratitude to British-Nigerian rapper Skepta, whom he credited for giving him opportunities when others turned away.

The singer insisted that no one, including Olamide, can stop his rise to international fame.

Portable also accused unnamed industry players of trying to block his progress.
