Sammy Daniels, the brother of popular Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, has been granted bail in the sum of ₦5 million after spending several days in detention.
Reports indicate that the bail was granted on Monday, November 10, 2025, following his remand by a Dutse Magistrate Court last Thursday. Sammy was initially detained in Keffi Prison before being transferred to Suleja Prison.
Confirming his release, Sammy’s elder brother, @Sweezzy1, took to his Instagram story to celebrate, writing:
“Sammy, you are a great man. Bail has been granted! Nigerians, thank you.”
Recall that Sammy was arrested in Lagos about a week ago following a petition allegedly filed by Senator Ned Nwoko, Regina Daniels’ estranged husband. His arrest is reportedly linked to the ongoing marital controversy between the actress and the Delta State senator.
The incident adds yet another twist to the high-profile dispute, which has dominated headlines since Regina Daniels publicly accused Nwoko of domestic abuse, while the senator countered with claims of drug and alcohol addiction against the actress.
