Regina Daniels Says Her Union With Ned Nwoko Lacked Legal Backing Amid Ongoing Dispute

Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has continued to speak out amid her public fallout with her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, claiming that their relationship was never legally formalized as a marriage.

In a statement shared via her official Instagram page early Sunday, the actress addressed the ongoing controversy surrounding her split from the lawmaker. Regina alleged that their disagreements were rooted in personal issues rather than the substance-related claims previously circulated online.

“Fine, I did drugs. So what? Is that even the issue between us? The moment we had a fight, you rushed to the public shouting ‘drugs, drugs, drugs,’ because you knew it would make a perfect story for the media,” she wrote.

Regina also claimed that she faced increasing restrictions during their relationship, alleging that communication with her family and friends had been limited. She said tensions between them escalated when she decided to step away from the relationship.

As of the time of filing this report, Senator Nwoko has not issued an official response to the latest statements.

The ongoing exchange between the two public figures has drawn wide attention online, with fans and observers urging both parties to settle their differences privately and respectfully.
