Popular Nigerian actor, Kunle Remi, has sparked reactions on social media after ranking Nigeria as the worst country visited by American streamer IShowSpeed during his ongoing Africa tour.
According to 9javibez, the famous YouTuber and live streamer, IShowSpeed, visited Nigeria last week, as part of his tour across several African countries.
Reacting to the development, Kunle Remi compared IShowSpeed’s experience in Lagos with that of other African nations and expressed disappointment with what he described as the country’s poor representation.
“After watching IShowSpeed’s journey so far, Nigeria is the worst on my own list,” the actor stated.
The movie star also lamented the declining value of Lagos’ cultural heritage, raising concerns that negative influences have taken over the state.
Taking to his Instagram story, Kunle Remi wrote:
“After watching IShowSpeed journey so far, Nigeria is the worst on my own list. We just really stripped Lagos naked. No be say anything dey under the clothes before sha.
“Seems like we’ve lost the essence of culture. Our truth! All we have is fake drinks, club & beggy beggy skills.”
Kunle Remi’s remarks have since generated mixed reactions online, with some Nigerians agreeing with his opinion, while others argued that IShowSpeed’s visit does not fully reflect the true cultural depth of the country.
