Nigerian pop star and songwriter, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido has come out to debunk the claims that he denied been involved in the Abuja #EndSARS protest.
On Monday October 12,2020, the CEO DMW record label had an appointment with Mr. Frank Mba, Nigerian Police Force Spokesperson. Davido went in company of his lawyer and other colleagues.
In a conversation with Mr. Frank, Davido made a statement which was misinterpreted by many Nigerians insinuating his denial in the protest. The singer who was sensitive to the reactions has come out to detail on what transpired.
He said the statement was taken out of context, he was not denying participating in the protest.
