Portable Takes Stagecraft To Another Level With Coffin Entrance At Lagos Concert

Controversial streetpop singer, Portable has stirred up reactions after arriving on stage in a coffin for his concert.

On Wednesday, 28th December 2022, the Zazuu crooner held his Portable Live in concert at the New Afrikan Shrine, and he did not fail to make a grand entrance. The highlight of the night was when the father of four arrived stage in a coffin.

In a viral video, Portable was seen entering a coffin as he was transported to the stage by a group of about five men dressed in white.

Moreover, this is not the first time the singer is making his love for coffins known. The self-described ‘Wahala Musician’ recently used his social media platform to display his latest set of face tattoos.

In a video shared via his Instagram page, Portable showed off one of his many tattoos, which appeared to be a casket on one side of his face and the inscription ‘Ika of Africa’ on his forehead.

These come as additions to the already existing tattoos all over the crooner’s body.

However, netizens have expressed concern about how the coffin appeared. Though many have praised the singer’s PR team, many are of the opinion that the singer’s public display of affection for coffins has an ulterior motive.
