Nigeria would prosper under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's leadership, according to Dr. Supo Ayokunle, the former president of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN).
Ayokunle asked Tinubu to set aside politics and put the interests of the country first while speaking at a recent event in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The monk reportedly stated that although though Tinubu is aware of the issue Nigerians are facing and has promised not to let them down, he and other clerics will still pray for him in order for his administration to make a significant influence on Nigerians.
Adelakun asserted that the success of the Tinubu administration was due to clerics praying for those in positions of authority.
He encouraged the president to prioritize issues affecting the country's security, economy, health care, and education.
