Peter Obi declares, "Nigeria is finished," while assessing the destruction of his brother's home (video).

Online users have shared a video of Peter Obi wailing as he performed an on-the-spot assessment of his brother's demolished Lagos property.

The state government's plan to demolish the property without providing any prior warning was condemned in the video by the Labour Party's presidential candidate for the 2023 general election.

He claimed that his brother was not even allowed to take a pin off the property before it was destroyed. According to him, his brother has owned the property for over ten years.

During their tour of the demolished property, an upset Obi stated:

Nobody was able to take anything away. Does a nation operate that way? They arrived out of the blue and began demolishing. My brother wanted to enroll here, but they told him he couldn't because he didn't have a brother like me. "We have a court injunction," they declared. What kind of court order permits someone to enter another person's property, deny him the opportunity to remove his belongings, and demolish everything? What kind of injunction is that from the court? We're done with this nation.
