Tammy Abraham consents to a €20 million transfer to Besiktas

According to transfer analyst Fabrizio Romano, AS Roma and Besiktas have reached an agreement on a €20 million move for Tammy Abraham.

The sale was prompted by Roma's need to generate €13 million by June 30 in order to comply with Financial Fair Play regulations. Abraham and the Turkish Super Lig giants have also reached a personal agreement.

After losing his starting position at Roma, the Nigerian-born striker spent the previous season on loan at AC Milan. The 27-year-old made 45 appearances with the Rossoneri in all competitions, tallying 10 goals and seven assists. However, Milan decided against making his move permanent after struggling through a challenging campaign.

In 2021, Roma paid €41 million to acquire the England international from Chelsea.
