(Read) Actress Maureen Solomon counsels coworkers who upload BBL recovery videos to refrain from providing the incorrect message to young girls

The way her female coworkers post their BBL recovery videos on social media has raised concerns for Nollywood actress Maureen Solomon.

Solomon said that these coworkers' carefree attitude toward body improvements conveys the incorrect message to young girls in a video that was uploaded to her Instagram page on Saturday, October 25.

The actress claimed that while she has nothing against BBL or other cosmetic treatments, she objects to the publication of such information online.

"I have no animosity for BBL. I've never been opposed to surgical enhancement. I think that's your body. Use your body as you choose," she advised.

However, I object to the way it is televised, posted on social media, and includes specific remarks about your recuperation. While it's acceptable as adults, there are some things we should be aware of because the younger generation looks up to us.

"I'm not disparaging anyone; I just watched this video. I came saw this video of two gorgeous people whom I like. They are aware of my devotion for them. Their bodies are thudding. Although I support it, I object when you share it on social media because we all have daughters, nieces, cousins, and other girls who look up to us.

For heaven's sake, those of us in positions of influence have millions and thousands of younger people who look up to us and emulate our actions because they don't always follow your advice. Actually, they imitate what you do.

"You're here to show them how you're getting over BBL, how December will be kpo kpor, and how the water will be nyash. Come on, women, what are we doing?

Our children are being raised to feel that they are beautifully made and to be confident in their appearance, identity, and self-worth.

"I understand that people post the video online to deter potential victims. I get that portion, but you may do it in various ways. We have girls who are admiring and following you. As their big aunt, you are there to reassure them that BBL is fine and to go buy a Nyash if you don't already have one. How many young girls will be saving money to buy one, do you know?

"As previously stated, I have no issue with it, but when you purposefully or unintentionally convey to these kids the idea that "my friend, if you don't have money you can go and purchase it," aren't we giving them a different sort of confidence that isn't what it's meant to be?

"Like other mothers, I will be educating my daughters to have confidence in themselves, and they will see videos like that on Instagram.

As I mentioned, I have nothing against it, but there's no reason to post it on social media because if we see it, we'll know you did it. Anyone who want to engage in gossip is free to do so.

We have lads who look up to you, so if they want to get married tomorrow, they'll take the girl to the hospital to do it. Nahhh, what is it? Please review your videos before posting them on social media. Nothing you post on social media will disappear.
