Veteran Nigerian entertainer Charlie Boy has weighed in on the ongoing online drama between Regina Daniels and her billionaire husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, saying the situation is far from entertaining.
In a viral video circulating on social media, the outspoken entertainer popularly known as Area Fada \ cautioned both parties to handle their marital crisis privately rather than turning it into a public spectacle.
According to Charlie Boy, Nigerians may be having fun reacting to the couple’s drama online, but the reality of the situation is nothing to laugh about.
“Marriage is hard work and management, even when it’s just one wife,” he said. “I’ve been married for 45 years to one woman, and even that alone is not easy. So marrying more than one wife? That’s double wahala on top wahala.”
He then addressed Ned Nwoko directly, saying that while wealth may attract attention, it does not guarantee wisdom or emotional intelligence.
“Yes, you have money, and yes, you married a younger wife. But money is not wisdom. Wisdom is not sold in any boutique. Some decisions require maturity, not just wealth,” he stated.
Charlie Boy also criticized the couple for bringing private family matters to the internet, warning that doing so only invites strangers to ridicule their home.
“When you drag family issues online, you give people room to laugh and spectate. Not everything belongs on social media, especially when it concerns marriage and children. Once the public enters your family matter, you lose control of the narrative.”
He ended his message with a firm piece of advice to Regina and Ned:
“Keep your dirty underwear and smelly boxers inside your house. Stop spreading family matters on the internet.”
The video has since sparked massive reactions across social media, with many Nigerians agreeing with Charlie Boy’s stance on keeping private issues off the internet.
