Ace Nigerian rapper Olamide has sparked a heated conversation in the music space after declaring Grammy winner Wizkid as the greatest Afrobeats artist after the late Afrobeat pioneer, Fela Kuti.
Olamide, popularly known as Baddo, made the statement during a recent press conference in Canada while reflecting on his long-standing musical relationship with Wizkid.
According to him:
“I am blessed to have collaborated with Wizkid on multiple occasions. You know Wizkid is the greatest Afrobeats artist ever after Fela.”
The YBNL boss explained that his collaborations with Wizkid are not about clout or leverage but stem from their natural musical chemistry and long-lasting artistic synergy.
