Regina Daniels Fires Back at AGN President Emeka Rollas for Saying She “Needs Help”

Nollywood star Regina Daniels has publicly responded to the President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Emeka Rollas, after he claimed she “needs help” amid the ongoing controversy surrounding her marriage to Senator Ned Nwoko.

Rollas, in a lengthy Instagram post on Thursday, urged Regina’s mother, Rita Daniels, to focus on her daughter’s well-being rather than contesting the AGN presidency. He also criticized Nollywood veterans for staying silent during Regina’s reported marital crisis.

“Regarding Regina, we all know she needs help. Your silence is unfair,” Rollas wrote, referencing the actress’ widely circulated video accusing her husband of domestic violence.

Responding sharply, Regina Daniels questioned the AGN president’s mental clarity, saying:
“Respectfully, there must be something wrong with you, sir, to say I need help?”

In a follow-up post on her Instagram story, Regina accused Rollas of financial misconduct and hypocrisy:
“You are a disgrace of a president who just visits one office to another, enriching your pocket under the guise of catering to the wellbeing of actors.”

She further alleged that Rollas frequently brought women to her family home “to take swimming lessons,” despite her earlier warnings claiming this is the reason for his perceived bitterness toward her.

The drama follows Regina’s viral accusations of domestic violence against her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko. The senator, however, has denied the allegations, instead accusing the actress of drug abuse, a claim that has further intensified public reactions.

The situation continues to unfold as both sides maintain their positions.
