Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has reportedly been hospitalised following an alleged suicide attempt amid a public fallout with Pastor Chris Okafor of Grace Nation Bible Ministry.
According to reports, the actress injured herself after learning that the clergyman had ended their relationship and proposed to another woman. A video shared online showed actor Digidi Dunhill accompanying Ogala to a hospital for urgent medical attention.
In the video, Dunhill appealed for help, expressing concern over her condition and questioning whether she intended to harm herself.
The incident followed Ogala’s emotional outburst on social media after a video of Pastor Okafor’s engagement surfaced online. The actress accused the cleric of abandoning her despite allegedly promising marriage.
Ogala claimed that their relationship began in 2017 and alleged that she became pregnant for him during the course of their romance. She further accused him of collecting money from her, releasing private videos without her consent, and influencing her decision to leave her former marriage.
According to her account, she felt betrayed and emotionally devastated by the engagement, alleging that her private life had been exposed in ways that severely affected her reputation and future.
The controversy erupted just days after Pastor Okafor, popularly referred to as the “Generational Prophet,” announced his engagement to another woman.
As of the time of this report, neither Pastor Okafor nor his ministry has issued an official statement addressing the allegations.
