Popular Nigerian singer, Teniola Apata, professionally known as Teni, has reacted to the recent cry for help by veteran artiste Innocent Idibia, widely known as 2Baba (2Face), on social media.
9JAVIBEZ reports that the award-winning singer sparked concern on Wednesday after posting a brief but alarming message on his Instagram Story that simply read, “Help me.” This marked his first public comment since controversies surrounding his marriage to Edo State lawmaker, Natasha Osawaru, began making rounds online.
Reacting to the post, Teni took to her own Instagram page to share a video in which she called on fellow musicians Timaya and Kcee to step in and support the troubled singer.
“2Face my legend, we’re coming to save you,” she captioned the video.
Reports indicate that 2Baba’s latest troubles allegedly began in the United Kingdom, where he and his wife were said to have engaged in a heated argument that reportedly attracted police attention and led to the singer’s brief arrest.
The controversy resurfaced during a recent Instagram Live session with media personality Daddy Freeze, where the couple were seen openly arguing on camera.
These developments have since fueled widespread speculation about a possible crisis in the marriage, with fans and colleagues expressing deep concern over the singer’s emotional and mental well-being.
