Kanye West Apologises Again Over Anti-Semitic Comments, Blames Brain Injury

Famous American rapper and fashion entrepreneur, Kanye West, has once again issued a public apology over his controversial anti-Semitic remarks.

The apology, titled “To Those I Have Hurt,” was published in the Wall Street Journal on Monday and was reportedly paid for by Yeezy, according to the Daily Mail.

In the statement, Kanye West revealed that his offensive outbursts were linked to a brain injury he sustained in a car accident about 25 years ago. He explained that the injury affected the right frontal lobe of his brain and was only properly diagnosed in 2023.

“Twenty-five years ago, I was in a car accident that broke my jaw and caused injury to the right frontal lobe of my brain. At the time, no comprehensive scans were done as neurological examinations were limited. The possibility of frontal lobe injury was never raised. That medical oversight caused serious damage to my mental health, leading to my bipolar type-1 diagnosis,” Kanye stated.

According to 9javibez, this development comes nearly three years after a Jewish organisation, StopAntisemitism, rejected Kanye West’s earlier apology.

Kanye West has faced intense backlash in recent years over his public statements, leading to the loss of several major brand partnerships and widespread criticism online. This latest apology appears to be another effort by the rapper to address his past actions and rebuild his public image.
