Nigerian actress Regina Daniels has submitted herself for a drug test, months after allegations of substance abuse were levelled against her.
The actress shared a video on her Instagram page showing her at a hospital, where she announced her intention to undergo the test.
“Hi guys, so I’m here at the hospital. I’m about to run my drug test,” she said in the video.
Her action comes nearly three months after her husband, politician Senator Ned Nwoko, accused her of substance abuse amid their highly publicised marital crisis.
DAILY POST recalls that in October 2025, Regina Daniels publicly accused Ned Nwoko of domestic violence and abuse. The senator denied the allegations and, in response, claimed the actress abused drugs, stating that he was in possession of her medical records.
Adding to the controversy, Regina’s co-wife, Laila Charani, also alleged that the actress had introduced her to drugs during the fallout surrounding the couple’s breakup.
Amid the accusations, an alleged medical report purportedly from Serenity Royale Hospital surfaced online, claiming that Regina had toxic levels of marijuana, morphine, opiates, cocaine, and alcohol in her system.
However, Serenity Royale Hospital denied releasing or leaking any such medical records.
“We wish to state clearly that the publication containing classified information of Mrs Nwoko Regina did not emanate from us and respectfully request the public to disregard same,” the hospital said in a statement.
