Nigerian singer Ahmed Ololade, popularly known as Asake, has opened up about the tension between him and his father over his decision to pursue music.
In a recent interview with YouTuber Korty EO, the Sungba crooner revealed that his relationship with his father grew cold after his dad opposed his career choice. Asake admitted that he defied his father by leaving home to follow his dream.
“My dad and I were so close when I was younger. But it got to a time when I wanted to leave home to do what I’m doing now but my father said ‘No.’ I left regardless,” he said.
