A Nigerian man identified as Michael Ugwuanyi has been arrested for allegedly killing his parents with a pestle.
According to a statement by Daniel Busker, the command spokesperson, the 45-year-old man came back and met his mother in the kitchen pounding cassava, which he seized the pestle and smashed her head. To avoid creating awareness by his father, he silenced him by hitting him with to the Same pestle.
Michael alerted his relations that his parents were ill but unfortunately was apprehended by neighbours in the attempt to cover up his crime.
It happened on Saturday, October 10,2020, at Mkporogwu, Iheakpu Akwa, Igbo-Eze LGA, Enugu State. Deceased were Julius and Florence Ugwuanyi.
