Two Edo Boys Arrested Over Alleged 90million Cyber Crime/Fraud.
24-year old Theophilus Odia And 25-year old Ebo Junior Success has been arrested by The Nigeria Police Force National Cybercrime Centre (NPF-NCCC) at their crib. They were arrested for alleged 90million naira fruad.
According to the statement by Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, on Tuesday, December 27, the suspect's are responsible for crimes like internet fraud, identity theft, cryptocurrency fraud, and obtaining money by false pretence. The statement read, “The duo run a syndicate specializing in defrauding unsuspecting victims from foreign countries by assuming appealing identities of other persons and promising them romantic relationships, under the pretext of which they defraud their victims".
