On May 22, 2023, Ogun State Police Command agents detained Adeyemi Babatunde, age 28, for having improper carnal knowledge of his biological daughter, age 5. The reason for the arrest was that Babatunde had a biological daughter.
This was confirmed on May 25, 2023 by the Command's spokeswoman, SP Abimbola Oyeyemi. After the mother complained to the Ijebu Mushin divisional headquarters that she had noticed her daughter was complaining of p@in whenever she needed to urinate as well as whenever she was bathing her and touched her private area, the culprit was apprehended.
When she realized this, she coerced the young girl into telling her what had happened to her private region. The youngster then revealed to her that when her mother wasn't home, her father had put her on the bed and pushed her manhood into her private area.
As a result of the report, CSP Simire Hillary of the DPO Ijebu Mushin division eventually apprehended him.
