After an eight-year break, Meghan Markle is apparently making a comeback to acting.

Variety reports that Markle will appear in the Amazon MGM Studios film Close Personal Friends as herself. Lily Collins, Brie Larson, Jack Quaid, and Henry Golding are among the actors in the movie.

This was a "massive moment" for the Duchess of Sussex and "signifies a return to doing what she truly loves," according to an anonymous person close to the situation who spoke to The Sun.

They said, "She has been inundated with offers, but this one felt right." Meghan uses it as a gentle technique to re-enter the water and observe how much she likes being back on stage. Everyone is ecstatic and has vowed to keep her involvement a secret. Naturally, Prince Harry is very encouraging and just wants Meghan to do whatever makes her happy.

The Duchess of Sussex has already begun filming her part, according to People. She plays a little role. She appeared content and at ease. According to a person who spoke to the magazine, "She introduced herself to everyone and was very sweet and down to earth."

Since leaving Suits in November 2017, this is Markle's first acting gig. She made an early appearance in the nine-season series as paralegal Rachel Zane. Following her engagement to Prince Harry in 2017, Markle exited the show.

After retiring as senior working royals, the pair relocated to Montecito and purchased a large house in 2020. They chose the upscale Californian community for more privacy, space, and a location nearer to their US base.
