Veteran broadcaster and Nollywood actor Patrick Doyle has spoken warmly about his ex-wife, actress Ireti Doyle, expressing pride in how far she has come in her career.
During an appearance on ‘Wake Up Nigeria’, Patrick Doyle discussed his relationship with Ireti following their separation. The actress had officially announced their divorce in January 2023, with the reason remaining undisclosed.
Despite their split, Patrick Doyle maintained a respectful tone, noting that he prefers silence to saying anything negative about her.
When asked how Ireti Doyle is faring in the entertainment industry, he responded:
“I’m happy for her that the Doyle name has opened doors for her. And so far hasn’t disgraced the Doyle name.”
He added that he remains proud of her accomplishments:
“She’s doing pretty well, and I am proud of her achievements in the industry.”
