Nollywood star Regina Daniels has confirmed that her parents, Rita Daniels and Jude Ojeogwu, have reunited after years of separation to secure the release of their son, Sammy West, who is currently in detention.
According to reports by DAILY POST, Rita Daniels, who is also a well-known actress and film producer, has been outspoken since the beginning of her daughter’s marital crisis with Senator Ned Nwoko, while Jude Ojeogwu had remained silent on the matter—until now.
Taking to her verified Facebook page on Thursday, Regina Daniels revealed that her parents have come together “with no negative ulterior motive other than their daughter’s happiness.”
The actress expressed her frustration over her brother’s prolonged detention, saying:
“Sammy’s detainment is taking way too long, but we will get him out even if I have to march there myself and create a storm! Since they want me.”
Regina also shed more light on her family background, describing her father as “a lawyer and one of the biggest back in the day, but Nigeria happened.”
She continued:
“I’ll tell you more about my father later. And my mother? She’s a powerhouse. They would do anything for their children. I love you, Mom and Dad! This is all I actually ever wanted.”
