Social media influencer Martins Otse, popularly known as Verydarkman (VDM), and Nigerian comedian Freedom Atsepoyi, aka Mr Jollof, were involved in a physical fight onboard a United Nigeria Airlines flight from Asaba to Lagos.

The incident went viral after Facebook user Dr Paul Ezikel posted a video showing the commotion on Monday morning, drawing massive attention across social media platforms.

Background of the Feud

VDM and Mr Jollof have been locked in a long-standing social media feud. Their clash escalated months ago when VDM accused the comedian’s wife of being involved with Yahoo boys, a claim that sparked multiple heated online exchanges.

Details of the In-Flight Fight

According to eyewitnesses, both men boarded the same flight in Asaba when an argument quickly escalated into a physical altercation. Passengers reportedly tried to separate the duo as tension filled the cabin.

VDM later confirmed the brawl in a Facebook video, claiming he overpowered Mr Jollof.

“I don chop Jollof father for inside plane. He bite me man wey dey bite,” VDM said, showing alleged bite marks.
