You Wanted a Star to Boost Your Fallen Star” — Rita Daniels Blasts Ned Nwoko, Alleges Regina Donated $50k to His Campaign

Nollywood veteran Rita Daniels, the mother of popular actress Regina Daniels, has openly blasted her estranged son-in-law, Senator Ned Nwoko, as the ongoing rift between the couple continues to escalate.

In a viral video circulating on social media, Rita Daniels accused the Delta-born lawmaker of tarnishing her family’s name despite the financial and emotional support they once offered him.

She claimed that her daughter, Regina, contributed $50,000 to support Nwoko’s election campaign, while she herself also invested money and effort into his political career.

“You wanted someone with a high star to boost your fallen star. If you think you can bite the finger that fed you, you’ll go down,” she said in the video.

“Regina gave you $50k to support your election. We are covering up your shame and making you feel like an Odogwu. You’re mad.”

The drama took a new twist when Regina Daniels herself made fresh claims on social media, alleging that her estranged husband ordered the arrest of her siblings in an attempt to force her to return to him and undergo rehabilitation.

Expressing frustration over the situation, the 24-year-old actress questioned why things must turn so bitter when two people choose to part ways.

She further revealed that she had kept silent despite being publicly labeled a drug addict, but now felt compelled to speak out to share her truth and relieve her emotional pain.

As of the time of this report, Senator Ned Nwoko has yet to issue an official statement responding to the allegations.
