TikTok has celebrated some of Africa’s biggest and most influential content creators, and Nigeria made a strong appearance on the winners’ list.
Abuja-based creator and Guinness World Record holder Brian Nwana was crowned TikTok Africa’s Storyteller of the Year at a special event held in South Africa.
Nwana, who also holds the world record for Most Fast Food Restaurants Visited in 24 Hours — an incredible 150 restaurants, beating the previous record of 100 — described the award as “surreal.”
According to him, his journey started with a simple goal: showcasing the beauty of Abuja, from the food to the creativity and the underrated places many people overlook. That passion eventually pushed him to global recognition.
Other Nigerian creators were also honoured, including Noosi Tiwantiwa and Raja’atu Muhammed Ibrahim, proving once again that Nigeria continues to dominate the African content creation space.
