According to reports, Stanley was taken into custody on Tuesday, December 9, and is currently being held at the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) in Asaba.
Speaking to LIB, the spokesperson of the Delta State Police Command, SP Bright Edafe, confirmed Stanley’s arrest, stating that it followed a petition filed by a female colleague.
Although the police did not disclose the details of the petition, sources claim that actress Queeneth Hilbert may have written the complaint, reportedly linked to their long-standing online feud.
However, the content of her petition remains undisclosed and unconfirmed.
Stanley Ontop has been involved in several online clashes within the Nollywood community, and his arrest has generated mixed reactions on social media as fans await further clarification from the police.
