Early on Sunday, October 26, NDLEA agents invaded Proxy Nightclub, located at 7 Akin Adesola Street in Victoria Island, where they said a drug party was taking place.
According to a statement made public today, October 26, by NDLEA spokesperson Femi Babafemi, more than 100 suspects, including club owner Mike Eze Nwalie Nwogu, also known as Pretty Mike, were detained and taken to screening facilities. Cartons of illegal chemicals, such as laughing gas and Loud, were found at the club's store and among suspects during the party.

According to Babafemi, intelligence regarding the drug party led to the operation. According to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), NDLEA agents who were embedded in the party between 11 p.m. on Saturday, October 25, and 3 a.m. on Sunday, October 26, broke up the gathering.
