Veteran Nigerian singer Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has appealed to Nigerians to shift their attention away from his personal life and focus on the pressing challenges facing the country.
The music icon made the statement on December 12, 2025, while performing at a live event where he thrilled fans with his hit songs.
Addressing the audience, 2Baba noted that discussions surrounding his marriage to Edo State lawmaker, Natasha Osawaru, have lingered for too long. He stressed that national issues deserving urgent attention should take priority over conversations about his private affairs.
According to the singer, after years of entertaining Nigerians through his music, it was time for the public to channel their energy toward matters that genuinely impact the nation.
“Make una ignore all that nonsense. Some serious things are happening in Nigeria. I’ve entertained you all enough. Let’s focus on more important things,” he said.
